leave the carcass to rot.
Although there are some animals that will eat this carrion, such as raccoons, it is still a cruel and unsightly
practice. If an angler wishes to use eggs as bait he or she should keep the female that the eggs were taken from
or find an alternative source for obtaining the eggs. Many bait shops offer tied and untied eggs for sale and some
bait distributors will ship eggs in cold storage through the mail. Remember, no one wants to see or smell this sort
of unsportsmanlike conduct.
